You are entitled to get your own pet once you have reached level 10. You have to look for a trainer that you should learn basic skills of taming down a beast or pet. Don’t worry, trainers can always be found in most larger cities. You need to finish all the 3 quests for you to learn these skills; Taming, Dismissing and Calling. With each quest, you will be given a beast to tame. Once you’ve already completed your traning, you are ready to find and tame your own pet.

So maintain its happiness to the utmost level and feed them very well.
