Club Penguin Medieval Party: The Definitive Guide

One of the most fun activities on the game Club Penguin is to visit the different parties and events that occur. Parties and events are usually planned once per month and often have a theme, such as the {Christmas,St. Patrick’s,April Fool’s} Party or the Wild West Party. But one of the biggest parties each year is the Club Penguin Medieval Party, which was first held in May of ‘08 and is planned again for May, 2009. Almost all of the places in the game are decorated for the event and there are a lot of cool activities players can do.

The first Medieval Party occurred between May 16, 2008 and May 25, 2008. It was one of the biggest parties in Club Penguin history. Almost all of the rooms in the game were decorated. Definitely one of the most popular things was the free item given out. In 2008, there were 2 clothing items that you could obtain for free. The first one was the Squire Tunic available at the Dock. The second one was a wizard hat which was at the Lighthouse. The wizard hat was also given out in the 2006 Halloween Party.

Dragon (Mines)

One of the most popular attractions was a dragon that appeared inside the Mines. The Switchbox 3000 device, which normally appears at the Theatre Stage was relocated into the Mine to control the dragon.

Magic Mirror

At the Mountain there was a Magic Mirror which operated in a way similar to that of a “Magic 8″ ball.

Special Costumes

In the Penguin Style Catalog at the Gift Shop there was a dragon, knight and princess costume for member Penguins, medieval backgrounds and a specialnote from the party committee about preparing for this party. The costumes could be bought by members in Club Penguin.

Tree Fort

This room was a special room that only appeared during the Medieval Party. It was a place to hang out and enjoy the party. One goofy feature was a hole in the tree where random colored Puffles would appear and make faces at you.

The 2009 Medieval Party

The 2009 edition of the Club Penguin Medieval Party will be held from May 8, 2009 through May 17, 2009. Club Penguin has only released a few details about the party but it looks to be as big, if not bigger than last year’s!
