The eagerly anticipated Wii Fit finally hits the shops in April 2008.
Well what’s a Wii Fit you may ask? It comprises of a video game that uses a special peripheral controller, called the Wii Balance Board, to duplicate a variety of physical exercises and enhance them through graphics, competition, and the Wii game experience.
The Wii Fit monitors how the user exercises, the way they balance their body and how they move. The Wii Fit video game is set to be a hugely popular addition to the Nintendo family of games and the Wii Balance Board, a peripheral controller, will be seen in the coolest gamers’ homes from April
The Wii Balance Board looks suspiciously like the bathroom scale you might already own, and just like it, the Balance Board can give an accurate measure of a persons weight.
The output of the Wii Balance board although a toy can even be more accurate than a scale. Hopefully it can server as a gentle reminder in your family room that one should exercise everyday.
In this way the board is used to control various balances games and exercise routines that provide the kind of fun the whole family can enjoy. This is probably why so many gamers and non-gamers alike are seeking it out.
Since its release, Wii Fit has proven to be extremely popular, flying off shelves at record speed.
